Powder Valley, Inc. has a deal on AA Data 85 at 69.00 per 8 pound keg. This powder loads to Ramshot Hunter data. It will move 150 gr. bullets from 2600 to 2900 fps. You should get 100+ loads per pound. They will ship 48 pounds under one hazmat fee of 20.00. They are in Kansas and shipping to me is a little over 20.00. This works out to less than 10 bucks a pound.

If you need powder for 22-250, 220 Swift, 223 WSSM, 243, 6MM, 257, 25-06, 260, 6.5x284, 6.5x55 Swede, 270, 270 WSM, 280, 7MM Mag, 30-06, 300 Win Mag and 300 WSM this MAY be worth considering.

If you don't want 48 pounds of powder they will ship primers and powder together under one hazmat fee. They got about as good primer prices I've found. Lot's of places show primers out of stock and the word on the street is they are going up. Figure 5 pounds per box of 5000 primers.

Powder is here: http://www.powdervalleyinc.com/accurate.shtml

Not that it's related to this post at all, but I just made an order from this company today.

I ordered 4lbs of VV N-110. Now I know I spent a preimum with the hazmat fee of $20, but I'm all out of this powder and it's all I use for my 44 mag, and now my 357 mag.

I have searched my local sources.....yes.....driven to the other side of the world (that would be the western and the northern side of Pittsburgh....and you have to go thru tunnels to do that! And that means traffic will back up! ) So, if you figure my time, plus gas....I estimate I've spent $683 just looking for N-110.

Nice people to deal with at PV. They gave me the rundown on how much they can ship with one hazmat fee (50lbs), plus there is the convience of the BBT dropping it at your front door.

Dave

Here's the AA chart for data powders:
http://www.accuratepowder.com/datapowder_dp85.htm

This is the Ramshot Hunter data. Click load guide on left side of page and go to page 6, left side for '06 loads. Nice burn rate chart is also here.
