Just for fun hobby and to test our innovations
in cartridge developements. And we build guns
so they don't hurt..........And there is a
huge interest in shotgun hunting areas to get
more powerfull shotguns, with brass cases,
as a lot of guys want to reload, and brass is
easier to load.Ed

castaway-In my Savage I keep pressure below
30,000 psi. The falling blocks the other two
have 70,000. The brass will take high pressures
and lots of firings.here is picture of case fired
36 times, sectioned, fired in my gun, and it shows no
thinning. And the bottom half of the case wasn't
resized at all.Ed

Ed,
I think you've stupefied most everybody with that bad boy! I can say for myself, as I sit here reading and looking at this thread I just sort of sit back and go "WaaaaaThe....!" - I just don't know what to say! I look at that cartridge in the pic and the first thing that came to mind, and still comes to mind, is the funny as crap scenes in the movie 'Tremors' with Reba McEntire and Michael Gross shooting that Elephant gun at the worms - hahahahaha! Now that's intelligent thinking on the subject eh?

Regardless, I think your work is fabolous! We need more pioneers out here to keep things lively...

Recoil is not bad.About like a 10 lb 458 Lott.
My gun is 25 lbs. Big thick pad. And with no
brake it doesn't deafen you.Barrel 31 inches long
get noise away from shooter. Here is picture of 3 big cases to give comparison to ours. First is a 700NE,
second is our 12GA FH, 3rd my 700HE belted case.Ed

Slick --We think that also- More power than the
biggest NE rounds, in a 12ga. And no 10 grand
needed to build one.Ed.

I shot Barnes saboted 3/4 oz .500 brass
hollowpoint slug, used in Federal loads. Got to 3900.
I have figured out that all bullets for 500 S&W
will fit in the sabot Barnes uses in the
3/4 oz sabot load that Federal sells.Lighter
505 bullets will work also. And the front section of a 50 bmg bore rider bullet, it
is 2nd in picture in the sabot. It
is 470 grains, really streamlined.And
you can buy them by the ton, just cut back
portion that is .510 diameter off.First is
sabot with Barnes 3/4 oz hollowpoint slug.3rd is the 900gr 600NE slug in my sabot made from heavy shotcup. 4th on the miniature digital scale is an older Barnes .580 cal saboted slug expanded,
it's 435gr.Ed.

Fired a 870gr hardened slug that Greg Addington
makes at 2300 fps. No leading. Here is picture
of 3 with one long loaded in a case for more powder
capacity.Nice slug for rifled barrels and bears.Ed
