Many of the forums I frequent are going with a "For Trade" section offering the members a place to swap they they have for what they want. Also, within those section, you will often fine a "Pay It Forward" thread offering up freebies in exchange for you offering something up that somebody else might be able to use.

I would love to see something like that offered here so members of this great forum could engage in that kind of activity while here.

Stick_man, first off welcome to Handloads.

Now onto your question. In fact we do have a buy/sell/trade area on the forum. However in order to access it you need to have 40 posts or more. This was done to help members get to know other members before doing business with them and to keep down the number of spammers that were frequently posting undesirable/scam stuff for sale.

Would be good if the anarchist antigovernment types that post mainly in the off topic and and political threads didn't recieve any post counts for post's made in those sections.
