Now why didn't I think of that....Got a couple of spare mauser stocks,, One of them is gonna get a Burris 25 power mounted on it this weekend!!!

That rig looks good. Back in the 60's I did the same thing, taping a cheap telescope on top of an old M-1 carbine stock.
However, be careful where you are pointing that thing. Someone might think to shoot back.

For cameras with big lenses, they sell a special gizmo based on the same idea, much more expensive of course. The trigger on the 'gun' can be connected to the camera's shutter release.

"High tech" scope mounts. Make sure you have them registered with the local authorities.
