I have many many magazines I would like to send to our service personnel in Iran/Afganistan. If you have a friend or relative serving there who would appreciate them please let me know by PM their name and APO address. I will send them with no cost the them. A name is required as packages can not be sent "to any soldier" any longer.
The magazines are mostly gun/shooting related that have be collected for this purpose from a couple of local gun clubs.

What if you brought them to the local VFW American Legion etc? They could send them overseas or maybe even take them to a VA hospital.

I talked to my son about your project and he told me there is no lack of magazines of any kind on bases he was at. In fact, they are getting them at the current issue level just as we do.
He suggested contacting the base Chaplin or the Chaplin Corp or the USO.
The packages we sent him (thanks again guys for your contributions) were distributed with help of his base Chaplin.
Just a suggestion.
