Well, I have been practicing and still am practicing for this weekend. Headed to the big city to shoot my very first 2700 Bullseye match. If I can keep all 270 shots in the repair center I will be a happy man.

You should have a great time. I have been shooting them all my life both indoors and out.

The NRA has a postal one every fall through winter. 8 sets of targets, slow, timed and rapid for both 22 and centerfire.

Iron sights, scopes or red dots all legal. I heard some talk about allowing lasers in the future. I use red dots now on all. Focus thing at age 50 on got me to the red dots.

Best of luck,

John from Iowa.

Thanks for the encouragement gentlemen. It is appreciated. Practiced
this evening, still getting to excited and getting to much finger on the
trigger pushing my shot. I put some nice groups together, 9 o'clock in
the eight ring.

I did not do as well as I had hoped or as well as I had done in practice but, I had a real good time. I was a little nervous being my first bullseye match and seem to throw every thing I had been doing in practice right out the window. Well I'm gonna keep practicing, I'll do better next time.
