Hate to say I told you so, but I posted that link some time back.. Glen Fryxell has been one of my resources for many years. That whole section has a real wealth of information.

There is a lot of data on this forum and it is difficult if not impossible to keep track of it all.

In case nobody noticed, in this forum info is freely repeated over and over and over with none of the nasty comments found on other forums berating users to use the search function because it's been said before.

I love that characteristic of this forum which reflects the patience and lack of ego in how this membership helps those seeking info others may have known for decades.

Saying something like "Hate to say I told you so, but I posted that link some time back.." makes me wonder why it was even said?

[I guess I'm a bit grumpy tonight...]

I cannot believe you would ever be grumpy, I am sure it was a lapse on my part.. However that page of data is truly a resource and I hope everyone gets a chance to look at it. I have found a plethora of useful information there.

Dave has been like that since he became that old man that chased him off some front yard grass many years ago...

To one and all..

I have a different reality than most of you, I live on the edge of the wilderness with Elk, bears and Mt. Lions, I have kind of seen it all. I have investigated more homicides than a lot of policemen, although I did a lot of that when I was a policeman. I have testified as a forensic expert on fire arms, so this forum is just kind of a social thing for me. And being an old military man and a retired policeman, sometimes I tend to post things meant to invoke a response, just for that sake...And Rig has never let me down....

This is a great place and I enjoy all of the interactions..To one and all, keep your powder dry and check your back trail, the big cats will sneak up on you if you let them, and if you see a bear cub run up a tree, you better have your shooter out and the hammer back, because mom will be on you in a hearbeat...John

John, no problem on my part.

Just in case you didn't make the connection the web site you so graciously complimented (lasc.us) is my web site. That's why I said . . . Thanks.

John, I find this place my social retreat, visiting it multiple time daily.
Can't say I've ever met a nicer crowd. If I don't think I can exchange
ideas and enjoy useful conversation with someone, I just hit the ignore
button and go happily on.

How boring it would be if we all agreed on everything!

I have definately NOT seen it all or amassed any large experience of
anything useful, but I'm very good at paying attention and following
instructions and taking advantage of ohers' experience. Another great
reason I love this place.

As I have said before I think that this is one of the best forums .. lots of good information to be had. Now if we could just form a co-op so we could get a discount on reloading components...

Casting, reloading shooting - it's never a bad idea for repetition of ideas and procedures. They're a good safety reminder, but also serve to stimulate (take that in context).

I have all the materials and equipment to cast, and I did give it a try TOO long ago with marginal results. I'll just might read the book, dust off the equipment, and give it another try.

Thanks to ALL for the info on EVERYTHING !

If he is still selling them, Joe Brennan, 11 Sombrero Blvd., #16, Marathon FL. 33050 was selling a cd with about 300 pages of info from the Cast Bullet Assn. for $6, pp.
I gave several to friends and all said it was very informative.
Someone might want to try him and see if he still has them available.

While Joe's book is certainly worthwhile it is not per se from the Cast Bullet Assn.

Probably several of the writers are CBA members but the book you reference is a collection of writings from many people.

Nice web site. If I had a source for lead I would get into casting. I just can't scrounge enough to justify getting into it though.
