Got this one from Centerfire several weeks ago.
J frame 357 magnum sounds like a hand full.

Molded a 100 or so PB bullet 156 gr Lyman 358156.
Going to try to duplicate BB 158 gr 38 +P load.
Using new 357 brass, trying 11 gr of 2400.
Don't have the GC for this bullet.

Had one of those, years ago. Traded it for some martial arts training.

Sun glinting off the back of the frame about blinded me a time or two while shooting. I figured I could bead-blast that to cut the glare.

Neat little revolver when I stayed with .38's, even +P .38's, but when shooting rip-snorting .357's through it, the little revolver became a real buckin' bronco!

They were police trade-ins.
$325.00 seem like a good price since the new one's with the IL run almost $700.00.

That's a sweet little S&W and you got a good deal on it.
I've never had great luck loading 2400 in short barrel
revolvers. I always got quite a bit of unburned powder and
a lot of muzzle flash. Your results might be better than
mine though. If not, try Unique or W231.
