Looked out at quarter past 5 this morning and it is snowing. At 34 degrees it is melting as it hits the ground. (pickup is white though) Unusual weather this spring to say the least.

I have radishes and onions starting up now but the cold doesn't seem to hurt them.

Missouri has been getting a good bit of rain and more promised. The temps have certainly been below average as well. Down into the upper 30's a couple of nights here in S. Missouri. We normally have no danger of frost after Easter, but this year has had gardeners watching the weather a bit.
I just set out my tomatoes two days ago and that is a couple of weeks later than I normally set them out.

I guess that weather is heading my way next. We've had a good
amount of rain here and it hasn't been all that warm.

Lots of interesting weather the past six months for sure. I'm enjoying. But... ya, I'm about ready for some nice, warm spring days.

I think in the last week I have dumped out right around 8" from the rain gauge including the 5" that we got over night last night. It is still raining and I think I can already see another 1" in the gauge so far since I dumped it this morning. We expect it to rain off and on for another 24 hours. Rivers and small streams are rising fast. Going to be a lot of flooding again this year.
I am glad that I live almost to the top of a hill.

Not exactly a lowland state, but many roads are closed for a while till the flooded creeks and rivers crest and drop back down.

That is a whole lot of water. I'm hoping things don;t get much worse - I have seen what floods can do to communities.

We got around 2.30" rain and moisture out of it. We always need just a little more moisture here it seems.
this next week it will dry a bit and the boys will finish planting corn and the cycle moves on.

My Internet was down for two days so I am going to update.
I dumped another 6 inches of rain out of my gauge Sunday morning. That is (11) eleven inches in 48 hours and we already had about 4 inches or more before that for the month. Yep, roads washed out, bridges gone, houses and cabins washed away. Whole towns flooded.
Not very many reports of people killed, but there have been a few. Mostly from attempting to cross flooded roads. Lightning has reportedly killed cattle here and there. One farmer in Texas County near Houston, Mo. reported 31 dairy cattle killed. Likely many cattle stranded or even washed down the swollen creeks as well.
I think the rain is finally over. All the lakes are climbing and many of the dams have had to release water out of the flood gates. Look out below. I suspect that the Mississippi River will be flooded as much of this rain extended up into the upper Midwest Mississippi valley.
A buddy of mine reported that when he went to check his game camera, he had a picture of a catfish swimming by.

3.25" of rain here over the weekend, but no frost or snow.
Looks like most of western KS will lose the wheat crop this year, and this was the smallest acreage planted since 1919.

Well, in northern OH it's been mostly in the 40's with rain every day
for the last 8 days. In addition to the rain it has been very windy,
last to days saw gusts to 40 mph. I think we got that NE weather.
