Wow - what a movie!

Just watched the 1999 movie staring Sam Elliott, "You Know My Name" - a western, set in 1924 in oilfield town Cromwell, Oklahoma...

If you like westerns and are up for one that's not set as far back as most, this is a great one.

Missed that one. My wife and I both love anything with Sam Elliot in it. Will have to check it out.

The wife and I have watched several relatively new westerns featuring Sam Elliot, Tom Selleck and Robert Duval recently and honestly, I think that group of actors is as good or better than the vast majority of the "classic" western actors were.

I'll have to watch this one when I get some time.

I've seen that one, very good.   The character portrayed reminds me
of myself.

The 6 gun was once as common as the cellphone is today, and just as annoying when it went off in the theater.
