You know how these Hillbillies are Guy. He may not open it until Christmas and surprise himself.

Leave it to Rex.

I needed a cleaning rod for a couple 22LR rifles. Some
cleaning patches, a few brushes, a jag & 22-250 brass. I
decided to try some Lapua '06 brass with my target
bullets & a bolt take down tool for a 700 Remington after
using my clothes line all these years.

My girls gave me a Dewey Rod in .17 caliber. I used it for
my 22 rifles but somehow while moving my loading room I
lost it or wonder if I left it in Elkhart, KS.

Happiness.... Ranger style....
Been searching for this one reloading shop 'bout 30min from here. In two years I never found it.
Today, coming back from the Waco VA hospital, what do I see nestled in the trees off the road? The reloading shop I'd been huntin for!

A one-man shop in a converted CONEX container with shelves from floor to ceiling filled with ammo, components and some nice guns too. A nice gent long retired with his old fat black lab to play ball with when either isn't too tuckered out. Super fine fella and his prices are very good. Low overhead you see.

Bought some Sierra 150gr.308 fp for my grandson's 30-30Win, Hodgdon Universal powder, and. 1K of Winchester Large Rifle Standard primers for the price of lunch for four at Dennys.

And he had a new Cimarron imported Uberti Sheriff's model (old BP frame) in .45Colt for a fantastic price! It was all I could do to not put some cash down on it!

Yeah, happiness..... Finding a new shop with an old gent like me running it.

Wade, both you and Lynn have reason to be happy.
Hope the visit to the VA went well.

Out back in another building is a Magma casting machine and 10 different sets of dies for mass production of standard cast bullets. But that's another story...

VA hospital thing today was a snap. CAT Scan of my head.
I told em there's nothing in there and they were wasting their time looking!
