I've probably mentioned more then once that any hurricane that
enters the Gulf ends up here for 2 days.   Course it's just rain and
grey skies while here but most times it hits here.

Now, keep in mind that Nate landed in Biloxi this morning.   At 8 pm
tonight it's dumping rain here.   It will probably spend 2 days here as
usual.

Any one else have any crazy weather like this?

not really but it won't dry enough here for harvest. The boys have been harvesting soybeans for two weeks now and have two semi's full cut.

I guess we all get some weird weather.   We started spring with the
most rain I've ever seen, and have not had rain for 2 months up to
Sunday.

I live in village with a grainery 1 block away.   I love this time of year
because the farmers bring their grain in.   After spending most my
life in a big city I find this refreshing.

91F forcasted for today. Heat index will be around 98F to 100F with the 78% to 85% humidity. Yesterday morning I was in an old G.I. field jacket in the morning testing loads. I have given up fussin' 'bout the weather long ago. Makes my head hurt just thinkin' about it.

I cringe at the 'S' word.     I realize that's because of the mountains
but I don't know if I could like that.

It has been very unseasonal here this fall. Temps in high 70s but I
think it ends next week.

All that's needed is some elevation... And I suppose a more northerly location.

October 1st, Washington.

I guess summer is over. HUGE change from 100+ degrees in August.
