yOU KNOW AT MY AGE, i THINK i WILL KEEP WHAT i HAVE AND FIGHT FROM MY HOUSE DRINKING COFFEE BETWEEN ROUNDS UNTIL AS STATED THE DRONE MISSILE HITS.
aND THEN i WILL PRAISE GOD FOR 2 THINGS, 1ST BEING IN HEAVEN WITH MY LORD AND SAVIOR AND 2ND KNOWING THAT DRONE TOOK OUT MY GAL DANGED CAPS LOCK BUTTON FOR ETERNITY TOO!
Lord, please let it be a 1 shot, 1 kill day 10 yds uphill from a spot that my tailgate fits under. Thank you!
IF YOU WON'T STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS THEN PLEASE, GO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM!
Back when I was deciding what kind of
reloading set up to do I saw a video where a
guy was showing his bug out bag... which
included a reloading kit... if a person loads
cast bullets and packs a few bullets but also
a bullet mold you could pull tire weights
from abandoned vehicles or wherever and cast
as needed for a long time.. could even pull
old wiring and cast copper bullets if one had
loads worked up for it...
In a bug-out situation a firearm will be used for two main purposes...1)protection and 2)securing food.
Since a firearm is useless without ammo, popular chamberings would be the best place to focus. .35 and .22 calibers should suffice.
A TC Encore with one rifle barrel chambered in .357 Maximum and an additional barrel chambered in .223/5.56 should keep you in business for quite some time.
The .357 Max is deer worthy out to beyond 200 yds. and will also chamber .38 Spcl, .357 Magnum and .360 Dan Wesson. Four cartridges can be used with this one.
In addition the .357 Max can make use of the lighter .358 rifle bullets, too.
The .223/5.56 barrel should be along just for the availability of ammo.
A bullet puller and attendant dies would allow the swapping of bullets between the .35 cartridges. .35 cal. bullet molds would sweeten the pot.
For a handgun, a Ruger Blackhawk Convertible with cylinders chambered in .357 Magnum and 9mm Luger would allow the use of those two cartridges plus the .38 Spcl.
A good multi-tool would take care of the knife slot.
