Couple years ago my bank card data was stolen and my
meager account was wiped out. Took a small act of
Congress to fix it. Yesterday, I was cleaned out again!
By some pukes in California! They were still trying to
charge stuff today and my bank called me asking why I was
in California charging stuff. Can you believe that? I
told em I got nothing to do with that leftist crap state
and I damn sure wouldn't be out there going to
restaurants eating raw fish and kelp! I'm a Texan by God
and we don't have nuthin to do with that bunch!

They then froze the account to stop the idiots from
whipping a dead horse. I gotta go into town and fix this
crap, AGAIN! This is the second or maybe the third time
someone stole my bank card info. I'm really pissed off
now. Just installed a new phone/data security thing two
days ago. And now this? Coincidence? I'd doubt it. I
don't trust anyone anymore! Probably ripped off by the
security outfit!
Aside from our group here and a VERY select small group
of people, I really pretty much hate everybody else! I
trust in Colt, S&W, Marlin, and my old Remington 870.

I'm done with internet crap too. Ain't buying nuthin
online no more! Not gonna Google anything either. I'll
just visit here and text with my granddaughter. But
that's it. This is a phone, not a laptop! Now on I'll buy
my stuff, all of it, with cash locally. If I can't get it
here I don't need it! Then if someone wants to steal from
me I can shoot the bastards because they're gonna be
right in front of me and my pistols!

Yup, this halfbreed's pissed off and on the warpath.

I feel for you Wade. Never understood people that took stuff that didn't belong to them.

Yup, I hate a thief. Loved putting em en jail.

Seams this bunch went to a movie, some place called
"Copeotes"? [Guessing at spelling] "Bennyhanna's"?
[Guessing again] and more unpronounceable places in San
Francisco amongst the fruits and nuts of California!

And now my account is empty. Will not see any money in
there until after the first of the month. But me, my dog,
and cats need to eat. Will end up costing me about $50 to
get stuff right. Hadda pawn my big 50cal ML so I could
shop for food. Lovely. I hope those foreign pukes
enjoyed all the movies, food, and stuff on my account. I
hope they choke on a chicken bone!

Yup, no more internet stuff for me. I'll go locally with
Yankee greenbacks and buy stuff close to home. No more
orders by internet. I'm loading like it's the 60's, might
as well do business like it too. Told y'all I hate
technology. For me old school is the right school!

That's one reason I don't do business with Amazon. No phone sales,
just the internet. If I can't call my order in, then they damn well do not
need my business.

My computer neighbor said I should contact the outfit I
was buying from and advice them I was hacked on a
transaction with them. Figured to give em a heads up.
Now they started a customer service ticket on my order.
Now it's either suspended, canceled, or something. But
they got payment. But now are they gonna ship? Who knows?
Bank disputed the bad guys use of my card and posted my
genuine ones. The order spoken about was posted so now
I've lost more? I don't know..... I'm too old for this
sh*t.

I kind of like the way my card works.   For anything above $400 I get
a phone call from them to verify.   And if the transaction is out of
state it is not accepted unless I call them.   The only thing is I have to
stop at my bank and let them know I will be traveling.

I never use a debit card as they are easier for the thieves to get your cash right out of your account. Hardly ever write checks, except to pay utility bills and such. Charge cards are simple to use and safe. Wife did had her number stolen a few years back but we never had to pay for anything except for returning one item that was delivered to us that the thieves ordered. It had to be sent to card holders address since I had never ordered from them before.

Just pay the balance off each month and one is good to go with a credit card. They can even earn you cash or points for things such as air flights, etc. I never pay interest.

Well I'm taking on Conan's daddy's attitude. Remember
when Will Smith was talking to Conan [as a boy] about
trust? He said "Trust not in man, nor woman, nor beast.
But this (pointing to a great broadsword he just made)
this you can trust. Trust in steel". Makes sense. I'll do
business only in cash. Someone has a desire to take it
from me they can expirence "steel" at it's best.

As a cop, I trusted few people. Most people hated police.
Wanted to shoot em. Yeah, got shot, stabbed twice, and
hit by cars with pukes driving them. Learned quickly to
trust only a select few. Some officers I had less trust
in than a couple career criminals I knew.

Thieves, burglars, and child molesters abound. In the past
few years I've been burglarized twice, my car
burglarized, money stolen via my bank card more than
twice as I recall. So yeah, I trust almost no one. Today,
someone extends his hand to shake mine I've got my other
one on my wallet or the grips of my 1911A1. I don't
hardly trust anyone. And that extends to the government
too! I'll NOT get burned again.

Wade, a few things.

First - I feel for you. I've had my car stolen twice int he past three years.

Second - Ham hit it right on the nose with debit vs credit cards. Just something to think about.

Third - I am going to try and send you a PM.
