Visited my daughter and son-in-law the last 2 days. S0n-in-law showed me a revolver that he had just gotten.
A Colt Police .32. For the age it sure didn't look to have been fired much. Included in the deal was the law enforcement leather, Bauer Bros. of St Louis holster and belt with a speed loader for the revolver and caliber!
Didn't have the heart to ask what he gave. He also had picked up a Colt Detective Special.
He didn't offer to give old Pop anything.

You mean you didn't even get a "harumph"? Outrageous!

I like .32s, and I like vintage revolvers. Sounds like he did good.

Chambered for the true 32-Colt (A heeled
bullet cartridge) or made by Colt but
chambering a standard 32 cartridge (32-S&W
long or short, 32-H&R, etc . . .) ?

Now if it's a 32-20, why as the old timers would say, can plum shoot through a man

Forgot about that possibly. Just
wondering if it was the actual 32-Colt
cartridge chambering since the can be a
bugger to find or make ammo for.

Turbo, I held the revolver just long enough to examine the condition and marvel at how skinny it was. He had a few rounds for it but I never paid any attention to them.

Wade, I never got to comment on his cost but....he mentioned that he got carried away and bought a new Browning Maxus shotgun and my daughter reacted just as most wives do.
