As far as lubing goes...

Like Rich, I dip my bullets in LLA. I dilute the LLA with about 50% mineral spirits and have found that is plenty of lube for the trip down most pistol length barrels. Bullets destined for longer barrels can be double dipped.

I use needle nosed pliers and dip the bullets up to the crimp groove and then set them on wax paper to dry. Around here the bullets usually take a couple days to dry.

It's quick, easy and not messy. The bullet noses stay clean and don't pick up dirt.
