Lessons learned:

Even a well known brand of pistol, G****, can malfunction, repeatedly. This brand of pistol is often acclaimed as "take it out of the box and shoot it." But... Any maker can produce a lemon.

If a gun simply isn't working for you... Ditch it!

Particularly if simply switching guns produces excellent results.

Also - if you're new to the game - don't expect to be a triple black belt ninja super-warrior after a one-day training session...

Simply not going to happen. Do expect to learn safety, and the basics of gun handling for concealed carry permit holders.

Enough for now...

Guy

After my chemo I had to trade off my G**** and get something that had a hammer so I could control the shots. I just could not hit anything anymore , everything was low and left, because I can't feel the trigger like I used to.
My new CZ is much better for me...

Glad you found a gun that works for you. This is key.

Some here have had bad luck with one handgun, while having good luck with another.

We're all individuals.

Pick the firearm that works for you!

I too believe all this as I showed up for my NRA certified pistol coarse a few day early and the guy said I could shoot the coarse and or practice if I wanted to. So I had my new Tausur slim with me that I had shot but a few times and couldn't hit anything with it sites were very bad from the factory. Came back the next day with my S&W 5906 and shot a perfect 60 out of 60. Passed the course and now i cam give the CCW coarse.

P.S. Got the sites adjusted on the Taurus and it is a super gun now!! Craig
