That's close to the old pre-stupidity price.
Glad to hear that but I've just about quit shooting my .22, quit while the shortage was on and just never went back.

That's a better price than I've seen lately. I'm like Rex, I got away from the rimfires and now seem to shoot small centerfires in their place. A downloaded .22 Hornet is more fun.

Is that a sale price at all Wal Marts or just a local one?

That has been the price for better than 6 months. My wife and I stop shooting 22 and switched to 22 hornet during the shortage but lately have been shooting quit a bit with our Rugers and having fun. Randy

Lots of ammo around here, Natchez has rem golden 525 packs of hp's for 24 bucks. I quit buying rimfire's, I have over 400 #'s, I got carried away and bought too much. I guess the grandkids will get to shootem. I love shooting rimfire, I even have a 5mm Remington. Its a awesome caliber. And now, my 17 M2 is tooo hight to buy, if you can find it. Well, get the ammo while you can, I don't think it'll be there for ever.    Ron

Thanks Ranch, but I have several thousand rounds. I'm ammo poor, hahahah.   Need a cheap place to buy 17 mach2. CCI just makes ammo for it not very often either.

I used to shoot a lot of .22 rimfire ammo and bought several cases of .22LRs when they were .79-.99 cents a box. I also bought several boxes of every .22lr. I could find, and a few .22Longs, shorts and magnums.

I eventually started shooting more small centerfires in both revolvers and rifles and set the rimfire ammo back, which was a good thing since I'm not about to buy it now at these prices. I taught the grand daughter how to shoot with .22s the last two summers and handed her a .221 Fireball last fall, fortunately she loved it.
