Since we didn't have to do a out of pocket for my wife's pain operation, I got this...

A 1941 Luger that is as in as bad shape as me it looks like...
We both were born in 1941.....

We both may still work but think the pistol may outlast me.

Yup, take good care of Mrs. Master Chief. We don't want
to see you at Captain's Mast!

Enjoy that Nazi toggle gun!

Chief

The E9 I used to work for at Sub School in Connecticut had a Luger that he liberated during WW11. This was back in 1969, he had his 30 in then, and was just thinking about "pulling the pin".

I loaded up a box of 158 grn. SWC for that gun and they seemed to work just fine. The gun he had showed a little holster wear, but the inside was "pristine"..

I really tried to "like" those guns, but they never seemed to fit.

After I retired from Alaska and stated my investigator business, one of the attorneys I worked with was a real Luger collector. He has several, he would go on at length about how nice they pointed, but I could always point shoot better with an 1873 Colt.

But they are cool guns, and we are living in a 9mm era, ammo is cheap and plentiful. Probably more folks have 9s than anything else. Enjoy..j

That's an interesting old gun, and should prove fun to shoot. Enjoy!

Never shot a Luger before. When I was a kid and went to every gun show I could, I used to see a lot of them, not anymore. I guess they're all in collectors hands now who aren't letting them go.

My Dad was the biggest gun nut I ever knew and we had at least one of everything come through the collection for a while at one time or another, but never a Luger.
