Woo Hoo!

Normally in Washington, hunters must choose between archery, muzzle loader or modern rifle for deer and elk.

I just drew an option to purchase a multi-season tag that will let me hunt all three seasons for deer! It's kind of a make-money operation for the WDFW, but it does let me get more into bow-hunting, without giving up my rifle hunting option. Nice!

Looking forward to it.

Wow! Texas always had that option. Glad Washington let's
y'all hunt all three. 'Bout time huh?

Only if we pay for it these days...

Going to run me about $140, and I really hope to only hunt deer in the archery season. With "modern rifle" as my backup.

I gave up archery hunting about 5 years ago. Even with the compound bows, it's not easy to hold that string back for me...
Seems that I can only hunt any deer in GU 124.
Do have a young guy that may get me in there, all private land but lots of deer.
Getting old sucks!

CONGRATULATIONS!

Options are always good. Options of different ways of doing something you enjoy are even better.

I used to buy the Fla. Sportsman License and it cost upwards of $65. However, this year I qualified for the following:

"Silver Sportsman's 64+ License (includes Hunting and Freshwater Fishing licenses; and Wildlife Management Area, Archery, Muzzleloading Gun, Crossbow, Deer, Turkey, and Florida Waterfowl permits) (does not include Saltwater Fishing License, Snook or Lobster permits)"

And, it was just $13.50
