I know in this country we should never complain about a rain. I went back to my summer flunky job of mowing for Game and Parks Monday through Wednesday, I come home to my own lawn that is way too tall and it is raining! Can't go shoot either. May have to get some sheep to pasture on the lawn.
Oh well, if this is the worst thing to happen to me I'm a lucky man.

We got your rain today. Rain yesterday afternoon, all
night, and all today. My rifle range it not too bad at
all but my pistol range is a mud bog.

So I cast 45's and our favorite 357 bullet, the 357446 in
anticipation of getting my m28 out of layaway.

can't wait to see how it shoots. Took my revolver out for the first time in a week and a half today, it wasn't pretty. I need to shoot just a little every day to stay close to the target.

We had a beautiful last few days, in the mid 80's today, no clouds, and I didn't even go fishing.... But in my defense, I did cast a bunch of bullets for my 9mm pistols yesterday evening.

I gotta get a set of dies for my 30/30. I've had the rifle for maybe 20 years and used to use my son's dies. Now that I live 50 miles away and his work schedule is so erratic I just may buy a set...

Why can't you shoot?

Firearms work just fine in the rain. And snow. And whatever...

They're not expensive... You can do this.

Yes, I know. I already have two molds, a 170 fp Ranchdog GC model and an old single cavity 160 gr Lee gc mold....

My bullets are unhappy being out in the rain. They gotta
put on their little bullet ponchos and tiny overshoes.
Boy can they get fussy in foul weather. Whining and boo
hooing about getting wet. You'd think they were in the
Air Force!

Ranger bullets don't care. They just figure if its
raining don't count on any air support. Flyboys don't go
out in the wet. You'll find officers in the dayroom
shooting pool, watching CNN or cartoons!
