And lets not forget California wants to split into two or
even three separate states to satisfy all the lunitics
that live there! Talk about Ignorance vs Stupidity! Bet
that they've got secret 9mm leverguns but with only a two
round capacity.

Okay, the thread is already off track and
not by my hand, and I just can't stand
leaving the 9mm lever action carbine alone
anymore, so here goes:

9x19 = Most common pistol cartridge both
in U.S. and word wide. Plus, a large
market of shooters out there who like
lever guns especially pistol cartridge
carbines. Should be a market for such a
gun.

Problem is most likely a liability issue
with using a tube magazine. The low
recoil impulse of the 9mm in a carbine
rifle combined with round nosed as apposed
to spitzer pointed tip bullets makes a
chain detonation in a tube magazine a
small minor risk but never the less
possible and it only has to happen just
once for it to become a huge liability
problem for any manufacturer considering
bring such a product to market. Or more
correctly, the theoretical risk makes
their lawyers and insurance brokers scream
bloody murder (What? You don't think they
are subject to the natural laws of
stupidity and lazy in the head syndrome
just like other people?) and no such
product makes it past the idea stage much
less off the drawing board.

Never mind there are other magazine
designs which could be used that would
take that issue off the table.

Combine that with the fact that such a
product would have to compete directly
against a flock of semi-auto 9mm carbines
that are mostly of the cheaply produced
simple blowback type.

Now with the anti-2nd-s on the war path
and pushing blanket semi-auto bans in many
states a limited market may re-open across
sever states for lever and pump action
rifles in both popular pistol and
intermediate rifle cartridge chamberings
and I can see top fed fixed box magazine
lever action rifles based off of existing
proven Winchester designs of yestercentury
making a limited comeback within the
limited market of the not so free states
who have, are, or are going to adopt
blanket semi-auto bans, interchangeable
magazine bans, and high capacity magazine
bans such that a lever or pump gun with a
5-to-9 round built in fixed magazine then
becomes the most potent option legally
available for a life & liberty gun. I
would expect 223/5.56, 7.62x39, & 9x19 to
be among the first chamberings to be
offered in such a product line for such a
limited market in addition to other
chamberings which work fine in tube
magazines and lever and pump guns already
exist for.

All I know is if you load a pointed bullet into a lever gun, the pistol will blow up and the BBs will fall out everywhere and then you can go to jail for making people slip and fall. Did anyone mention that, I did not read the thread?
