About the only rifle I have that I don't "like" is my C sharps 75, and the only
thing really that makes me not "like" it is the cheekpiece and the pistol grip.. A
bit of time with the rasp and some sand paper, it could come back to the "like"

Edit to add the Handirifle in 270 and I don't think there's much that could be
done to that rifle that would make me like it.

The most expensive bullet there is isn't worth a plug nickel if it doesn't go where its supposed to.

Too many to nail down a favorite, I have a lot of rifles and there are things I like about each one.

Lately, a sporterized '93 Mauser in 7x57 has become a real sweetheart to me. Not particularly nice, but whoever sporterized it did a good job and it fits me very well, handles nicely and is a good shooter with cast. I'm really looking forward to getting this one in the field eventually.

My 742 Remington, .30-06, carbine. It fills a number of needs. It is short so it makes a good brush rifle, or other tight spaces, .30-06 ammunition is available any where.

With a couple of extra large magazines, you have the ability to dispatch a number of "vermin" at one time.

And .30-06 is more effective at long range than the smaller calibers.

I bought that rifle after seeing a movie.. "Two Minute Warning".

My old Ruger 10/22 carbine was the first rifle I bought when I hit legal age and to this day I enjoy shooting it as much as the day I picked it out. Old to young, experienced to newbie, you just can't help having fun with a 22lr rifle .

Winchester 94 Ranger in 30/30. Bought it used and gave it to my dad back in the early 90's for a gift (birthday or Father's Day, can't remember). Sentimental value cannot be measured, and I really like lever action rifles.

Violence can be a frightfully persuasive argument, but the last word should be yours.

I have a NEF handi Rifle in 30/30 and I did have one in
.270, but for the life of me I can't remember if I sold,
traded, or if one of my sons "acquired" it. It shot really
well, the first year I took it hunting my first 11 shots
resulted in 11 DRT deer.
I never could conjure up a handload that could surpass the
cheap Remington 130 gr loads in the green & yellow box at
