I've had a Ruger 22/45 for a number of years, and it
shoots really well with Remington cartridges. Some years
back on a whim I bought a box of CB caps and I never even
opened the box. I "suppose" that they will fire one at a
time from my pistol, but never tried.

Experiences or opinions?

Yup. Load 'em one at a time I reckon.
Do yourself a favor though. When done, clean your weapon
real good and scrub the daylights outta your chamber.
Trust me on that.

I used to shoot RWS CB and BB caps. They were a real pain in auto type weapons due to their soft cases pulling through the typical extractor. They were sometimes troublesome in S&W revolvers, bolt action, pump action and lever action rifles. That was thirty years ago or so.

Since then I've used a lot of CCI's CB shorts and longs and Aguila's Colibri's and Super colibri's. Never any problems with extraction.

Thanks. I figured I'd have to scrub the barrel well, and
found that Kroil works wonders.
