Yup, Barnes CR-10 is something else. And I hose down the
brush and jag with H2O as well to keep em from
dissolving!

I'll see if I can find some Bore-Tech and give it a spin.
Sounds like it has some serious followers. Course a "Lynn
endorsement" goes much further! Thanks!

Question: Anyone familiar with KG12 Copper Remover? Water
based, no ammonia, non etching fluid. It has my interest
with no ammonia as that stuff is rough on steel. Water
based provides a ph neutrality that I like.

A good post on the Cast Boolits forum, one of the shooters there uses almost exclusively cast bullets in his AR. I have shot cast bullets in my gas operated .30-06.

In this case hard alloy is the answer.

There are actually quite a few who shoot cast in Garands and make it work OK. Seems you need to use a pretty heavy for caliber bullet.

I do cast for .22 centerfires, but I can't imagine doing it for something like a .223 AR.
