Very cool. I'm not familiar with the magazine, is it a regional thing in the Pacific Northwest. Is there an online edition?

What did you have to do to submit your article? I've been contemplating writing a couple for Backwoodsman Magazine which has become a favorite of mine the past few years.

It's a national magazine.

It's avail via online subscription or hardcopy.

Submitting an article for publication is outlined in the magazine. It's worth a try!

With your camera skills, I see a cover photo in your future too!

It is published by Wolff, the same publisher for Handloader and Rifle magazines.

Thanks all. It was a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime hunt.

After the hunt, I simply had to write the story.

I don't know if it is a sign of prestige or not but your article in smack in the middle of the magazine.

Ya, I'm really pleased with the layout. The photos look good. Editor even complimented my article in his editorial at the front of the magazine.

I'll have to see about submitting another article. I'd like that.

Not nearly as prestigious as your article, but when I was a boy, my neighbor friend that I coon hunted with took a picture of his young blue tick hound while it was getting a bath in an old metal minnow bucket. It got placed on the cover of "Full Cry" magazine.

Guy, I have always enjoyed all of the pictures that you post. And what better way to remember one's great hunt than to read about it again and go over the pictures in a neat magazine.

I mailed a copy of the magazine to each of the guides on my hunt, and another copy to my dad. He's 91, still hunts pheasant and fly fishes for salmon.

Couldn't find many copies here in town. I could order a few, but I've got two, and sent three off to people I thought really deserved them.

It was quite an experience. The drive up and back was an adventure. The hunt was incredible. Then I really enjoyed writing the article.

It's funny - I thought I did a good job on the article and had proofed it thoroughly, but I see now that I could have worded some things better. Ah well.

As someone who lived in Alaska 25 years I thoroughly enjoyed your story.
Didn't get my download notice till yesterday, of course your article was the first I read.

Dana, who spent my first 20 years living in the Yakima Valley and Columbia Basin. So I enjoy your pictures a lot.
