I just joined up. I think I may have already belonged but I couldn't
remember my log on info.

Anyway my neighbor got me started hand loading as a youngster. I
bought a 7.7 Arisaki and couldn't afford ammo. He hooked me up with a
Lee Whack-a-mole and it's been an obsession every since.

I'll try and post some pertinent info and maybe some other stuff once I
get to know everyone better.

I'm a Life/Benefactor member of the NRA and a Life member of the
Second Ammendment Foundation. I still do some small game hunting.

Hello,
I work as a field tech in pipeline equipment. I've been reloading off and
on for about 12years as time permits. Since I travel so much I read
about reloading more than I get to actually do it. LoL. Thank You for
allowing me to join this group.

New member here. Been a consumer of info here for a
while. Thought I'd poke my head in officially.

Brief history - Veteran, IT guy, lived in Europe for a
very long time then made it back home the CONUS and
started applying myself to my life-long love of
boomsticks. Started reloading about 4 years ago and
have just over 10,000 rounds to my name.

Discovered a somewhat disturbing appreciation of
Russian rifles and have begun a small collection of
Mosin Nagants, SKS's and AK's along side other more
standard firearms.

Hey ya all!

I'm 61 years old and have been reloading for almost 4
decades. Not super long, the real respect has been
earned by those who have 50 or more years IMO.

My most favorite handgun cartridge is .357 mag., with
44 mag. #2.

My favorite bottle neck rifle cartridge is probably
7mm RM, next to that would be everything else. I
absolutely love developing loads for minimum SAAMI
spec chambers.

I also enjoy transforming off the shelf rigs into
tack drivers. Bedding, floating barrels, lapping bolt
lugs, hand lapping barrels (pouring lapping plugs),
trigger jobs, and any tune up trick that transforms
production rigs into tack driving long range hunting
rigs.

I don't spend much time loading shot shell any more,
that kind of died down when lead shot prices began to
sky rocket. I still load my own upland game bird
shells and also magnum turkey loads, but I don't load
or shoot much Trap & Skeet any more. Depending on what
the new administration does regarding U.S. lead
production, I may get back into trap & skeet, we'll
see how that goes.
