THANKS for the kind welcome, gents.

Fwiw, I'm from Camp County, way up in Northeast Texas, the home of fast horses & faster cowgirls.

REM1875,

Fwiw, I have an "addiction" to Remington Rolling Block rifles/carbine & their overseas "clones", my favorite being a Model of 1867 Danish.

yours, tex

Yes I have few 14, 14 1/2, 141, 1875 (real and Replica -
Just added a crosman air pistol 1875 and am stunned at
what a damned fine job the did and it shoots!), 1890
(replica) a couple of rolling blocks - one with a navy
arms bull barrel in 45-70 which none of has ever been
able to get to shoot and a baby rolling block in 45-70
that I am very hesitant to shoot....it's so damned tiny
.......
I like the old stuff

Hi people!

I was a member on this site many years ago. but things happened, wife died and new wife happened, cancer, near death twice, and my big computer died.

Well, as I peruse through the various sites I found this site again, and I'm most happy for it. I've gone through a few firearms and right now am down to a few pistols, a couple of revolvers and some shotguns and rifles, most of which are at my son's house. I love to cast bullets and handload, even if I'm not really strong enough to shoot for very long at the range.

Howdy!

I'm a 57 year old forensic engineer. I have been reloading just over 40 years. I got into reloading because at age 17, I couldn't buy ammunition, but I could buy components. I shoot a box of factory ammunition out of each new gun so that the manufacturer can't blame my reloads if something goes wrong, otherwise I only shoot what I load.
